From an idea, a sketch or an existing part to a finished 3D-printed object.

Scorpius XI designs and produces custom 3D-printed parts, prototypes,
replacement pieces and original accessories. We can work from your idea,
measurements or an existing component and turn it into a printable 3D model.

3D design & CAD

Need a part that does not exist yet? We can design it from scratch,
adapt an existing concept or recreate a functional replacement part.

The goal is not only to make something printable, but to create a part
that is practical, robust and adapted to its real use.

From design to printed part

  1. Define the need — function, dimensions,
    constraints and intended use.
  2. Design the part — CAD modelling and geometry
    adapted for 3D printing.
  3. Prototype and refine — test the fit, strength
    and usability when required.
  4. Print the final part — select suitable print
parameters and material for the application.

From CAD design to a real 3D-printed product.

What we can create

  • Custom functional parts
  • Replacement parts that are difficult or impossible to source
  • Brackets, holders, adapters and mounts
  • Prototypes and proof-of-concept parts
  • Custom accessories
  • Small production runs
  • Parts adapted to a specific object, device or use

Printing capacity

We can print parts up to approximately
270 × 270 × 270 mm.

Material, layer height, strength, surface finish and print orientation
are selected according to the purpose of the part. Depending on the
application, we work with materials such as
PLA and PETG.

For functional parts, we pay particular attention to strength,
assembly, tolerances and the surfaces that matter most in real-world use.

A real example: Saxhold Mini

The Saxhold Mini is an original Scorpius XI product
created from a practical need: a compact stand designed specifically
for the Odisei Music Travel Sax 2. It illustrates the complete process —
concept, CAD design, prototyping, print optimisation and finished product.

Send us a description of what you need, together with any useful
dimensions, photos, sketches or existing parts. We can assess whether
3D design and printing are suitable for your project and discuss the
best approach.
